Erica Johnson

Head Coach

Eric has coached for five seasons as Head Swim Team Coach! She has been involved with competitive swimming for the past 20 years, swimming for Highline Swim Club, KING Aquatic Club, Kent Swim & Tennis Club, Kennedy High School, and Whitman College. She was aslo an assistant coach at Kent Swim & Tennis Club for three summers while she was in college and was also an assistant coach for year-round club Issaquah Swim team from 2008-2010.

Nina Dipboye

Assistant Coach

Nina is back for her third season as an assistant coach! She is a Sociology major and Chemistry minor at Whitman College and has just finished her sophomore year. She is on the varsity swim team at Whitman and has swum competitively for 12 years on various teams including Issaquah Swim Team and Newport High School.

William Delbrueck

Assistant Coach

William joined the Somerset Stingrays when he was 7 years old and having swam every year since plans to swim and coach one last time before he goes off to college. He has taught group lessons and private swim lessons from beginner to advanced swimmers throughout his time spent at Somerset Rec Club. He has also been a part of the Newport High School Swim Team for two years. He looks forward to being part of the team and meeting all the swimmers this year!

Malcolm Mitchell

Sharkies Coach

Malcolm is going into his year as a Business major double-concentrating in Finance and Accounting at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He first started swimming when he was 11 at Newport Hills Swim and Tennis Club, and swam there for seven years, where he also coached in his final year of swimming. He swam all four years of high school at Hazen High School, on the Issaquah Swim Team for five years and one year on the Cal Poly Swim Team, a D1 program. Last summer, he was a swim instructor at SwimLabs in Issaquah as well as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Henry Moses Aquatic Center.
