Attention new and returning members! The SRC Board needs your energy! If you love the club and the community we have here, please consider joining the SRC Board and help guide its operations and future priorities and improvements! We will have many board positions opening up in the next year and we invite you to reach out to our president, Michael Ketchum at somersetrecclub@gmail.com.  Join us at a board meeting (next mtg is August 16 at 7pm @ SRC) and learn about what the Board is doing to make SRC a gem in the community and for its members. To ensure we continue being a great place for members, SRC needs new families to bring new perspectives and ideas to the table! And if you have been a member for a long time and are now ready to get involved, we’d love to hear from you, as well!   There are many opportunities to contribute and do as much as you are able to.
What we are looking for: SRC Board needs help with fiscal planning and budgeting, membership policy updates, membership technology system improvements, new membership marketing, member communication, club fundraising, project improvements, social event planning, organizing SRC board/team including team meetings, and driving the swim team and court (tennis/pickleball) programs. If you have skills and love the pool and want to see it continue to thrive please reach out to Michael Ketchum at somersetrecclub@gmail.com and he’ll be happy to walk you through each opportunity and the commitment required.
And remember SRC is a 501(c)3 and if you work for a company that matches employee charitable donations of time, if you get involved in the SRC board, SRC will receive donations$ for all your volunteer hours. We call that #winning.
