Somerset Rec Club is happy to announce clinics for both Beginner and Intermediate pickleball players. Each clinic is a 4-week session, 2 hours per session on our courts. And each is taught by Tom Grubb, a certified Level II Director, IPTPA pickleball instructor. Cost is $150 for SRC Family Members, and $200 for non-members (no pro-rating).

Maximum 8 participants (must be at least 10 yrs old), so sign up today!

Bring your own paddle, and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Recommend bringing water, hat/sunscreen. Please arrive a few minutes early to warm-up.

Week 1: Introduction to the court, rules, equipment, where to play, etiquette, how to join games, basic strategies, basic shots, basic footwork, where to be on court when you are playing, games.

Week 2: Serving consistency, ground stroke consistency (forehand/backhand), games

Week 3: Targets, start of blocking, start of drop shots

Week 4: Round Robin Tournament with prizes
