Hi! My name is Julia Stewart and I am a Junior at Eastside Preparatory School. I have swam for the Somerset Stingrays every year since I was a 5-year-old Sharkie, and I love swimming, lifeguarding, and teaching at Somerset! Specifically, I have taught group and private swim lessons for 3 years. I love teaching kids anything including water safety, the fundamentals of swimming, and advanced strokes, and my goal is always to help kids love swimming! Additionally, I offer adult swim lessons to beginners. Please reach out if you are interested in child or adult lessons!
Hi! My name is Maddy Brown. I’ve been swimming for many years and competed on Newport’s Girls Swim & Dive Team as well as in water polo. I’m currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in biology, and this is my third year as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I really enjoy working with kids and helping them feel more confident in the water.
